As many as 83 connections in total (13 more than last year) and 19 new airlines, including the new Israeli airline El-Al, have appeared in the summer flight schedule of Kraków Airport.

During the summer season 2017, the passenger will have the chance to fly directly from Kraków Airport to 21 countries on three continents. The schedule will also include all of the previous connections introduced in the winter season (Geneva, Manchester, Naples, Venice, Bournemouth, Belfast). We can also expect the comeback of seasonal (Stuttgart, Madrid, Barcelona, Athens, Paphos, Majorca, Pisa, Trapani) and chartered flights (Burgas, Varna, Chania and Heraklion in Crete, Corfu, Rhodes, Zakynthos, Antalya, Palermo).

People from Małopolska will be happy to hear that after a 7-year break they will be offered direct transatlantic flights to Chicago provided by PLL LOT carrier.

The first plane to North America will set off on 3 July. SAS carrier will take Kraków Airport’s passengers to Stockholm (Arlanda airport); while Eurowings will handle flights to Düsseldorf. Ryanair has proposed the greatest number of new connections. In March, Ryanair launched new flights to Pescara, Venice and Lamezi in Italy, Lourdes in France and Porto in Portugal. Over the following months, the company is planning to launch summer destinations to Crete and the Spanish Valencia. Whereas flights to the Middle East, namely Israel (Tel Aviv), are the proposition of the new carrier at Kraków Airport – the Israeli airline El-Al.
