The 149th Slot Conference organized by the International Air Transport Association #IATA, which concerned operations planned for the summer season of 2022, was held In November. The event, which takes place twice a year, involves over 230 airlines, flight schedule coordinators and representatives of over 85 airports. This group also included representatives of Kraków Airport and the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) – the Kraków Airport timetable coordinator. The talks concerned the time optimization of permits assigned to carriers by coordinators for the implementation of operations (take-offs or landings) – so-called slots – in the coming summer season. The expectations of the carriers in this respect are verified each time on the basis of the airport capacity parameters, so that there is no excessive traffic congestion that could lead to delays in operations.
