In November Kraków Airport, as the first regional airport in Poland, welcomed its 5 millionth passenger, and thus joined the group of European airports that handle over 5 million passengers within a year.

The lucky passenger was Ms. Joanna, who decided on a trip to Venice with easyJet airline. Needless to say, Ms. Joanna was pleasantly surprised by the information. The President of Kraków Airport, Radosław Włoszek, congratulated the passenger and thanked all those who contributed to this year’s impressive result. – Handling such a great number of passengers would not be possible without the work of people who care daily about the smooth performance of airport procedures. Surely, the potential of our region, and most of all, the offer of several carriers, thanks to whom passengers have the choice of 100 direct connections from Kraków throughout the year, contributed to the result – said Radosław Włoszek, President of the Kraków Airport Board. Radosław Włoszek, President of the Kraków Airport Board, presented Ms. Joanna with a surprise, consisting of a tablet, a voucher for #DIRECTLYfromKRAKÓW flight, and 5 passes to Business Lounge. Small gifts were also given to other passengers of the flight to Venice operated by easyJet. All the travelers were treated to an occasional cake.
