Since August, passengers of Kraków Airport can benefit from access to two new commercial establishments located in the generally available area: Costa Coffee café and St. Barbara pharmacy. Furthermore, from the end of August, passengers can visit the fun zone located in the public area on the +1 level. The zone is equipped with, among others, chess, table football, table tennis table, hopscotch and equivalent of the game of tic-tac-toe – “match 3 game”.
Our new public educational zone located in the passenger terminal is now open too. The zone offers much more than a traditional playground. It has an astronomy, space travel and future airport-themed play wall. It also features the “Planet symphony”, an air traffic control tower with the phonetic alphabet and signals used by aircraft marshallers to communicate with pilots. The educational zone also features a map of the disappearing world presenting endangered species of animals and plants in a children-friendly manner, along with examples of forbidden animal products covered by the CITES Convention.
