What did the life of citizens in Kraków look like at the turn of the 20th century? This question will be answered by Kraków 1900”. The exhibition presents the capital of Małopolska as a city of contrasts – on the one hand, as a conservative place with Galician-bourgeois values, and on the other, as a city filled with decadence and the artistic atmosphere of Kraków’s bohemia. It is also a chance to see masterpieces of the most important Polish artists of the late 19th and early 20th century: Olga Boznańska, Jacek Malczewski, Włodzimierz Tetmajer and many others.
