The core of the Kraków Airport brand is: security, quality of service, connection network, investments and sustainable development. A new logo is a symbol of opening to next challenges and evolution in the management strategy of Kraków Airport.

Kraków Airport introduced a new logo on 18 May 2017. The logo refers to the architecture of the terminal and management strategy of a modern airport. A strategy that requires looking at the mechanism of functioning of the airport from different aspects: passengers, neighbours, contractors. Moreover, the strategy must take into account the changes in the aviation market, which have taken place in recent years: the change in the level of customer awareness, revolutionizing the availability of connections and travel planning tools.
The airport consists of not only the new infrastructure and the terminal – the flagship of the airport, Kraków and the entire Małopolska region. It is also a number of actions taken to develop passenger services and travel opportunities – the example of which might be 101 ideas for travel to… any place you can only dream of. #DIRECTLYfromKRAKÓW. Directly, so in other words, easier, faster, more convenient…
The new logo was selected in an open competition announced on 6 December 2016. 92 designs were submitted, 90 of which met the formal regulations. The first place in “New logo for Kraków Airport” competition was taken by a graphic design studio “2 code”, represented by Krzysztof Drumiński and Jakub Walkowicz, who successfully performed the obligatory task no. 1, i.e. “Designing a new logo for Kraków Airport and a brand book”. The projects were assessed by a jury consisting of representatives of The Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Cracow University of Technology, the Design Agency “ARCHITECTURE” Czech-Duliński-Wróbel and Kraków Airport.The new logo will from now on accompany Kraków Airport and will represent the experience, business strategy and customer orientation of the airport.
