In November, a cooperation agreement was signed in Florida between Cracow University of Economics, Kraków Airport and the American university EMBRY-RIDDLE Aeronautical University / David B. O’Maley College of Business in Florida. This is the first agreement of this type in Poland between a Polish and American university, to which the airport is also a party. The parties started their cooperation in June 2016 by participating in a joint scientific seminar in Kraków. Since then, efforts to develop a joint agreement have been made. The signed document opens up the possibilities of implementing scientific and research projects as well as prospects for exchanging experiences of the scientific staff of the prestigious aviation university in the USA with entities from Poland. The agreement also provides opportunities for internships for US students at Kraków Airport.
