On 6 March of the current year, Kraków Airport was awarded first prize by Airport Council International in the category: Europe – Best Improvement by Region in the ASQ Award contest.
This prestigious accomplishment is awarded on an annual basis, based on passenger ratings included in the survey conducted at a number of airports. Currently, 284 airports from all around the world participate in this contest. Its scientific methodology, strict quality control procedures, and commitment to impartiality have won industry recognition. ASQ survey sets the global standards for measuring passenger satisfaction achieved due to service excellence at airports. Kraków Airport has participated in the survey since 2007, one year after its opening, and to this day is the only airport in Poland that has participated in this contest. The prize is the outcome of the modernization and development process of the Airport and the effect of a constant improvement of customer service quality. This accolade is a tribute to all the Airport’s employees, which motivates them to take further steps leading towards developing services for Kraków Airport’s passengers.
