The Christmas atmosphere can be already felt in Kraków thanks to the Christmas fair in the Main Market Square, which is a great opportunity to buy Christmas products not only from Poland, but also Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Hungary, Germany and Great Britain. The fair also holds numerous events, e.g. procession of carollers or plays of “Dziady Polskie”. Moreover , streets in Kraków undergo a transformation – with flowing, wavy shaped decorations filled with a floristic motif charachteristic to the Art Nouveau period hung above them.
