Another novelty for passengers – the new visual information board located at the pylon next to security checkpoints.
Every 30 minutes, depending on the expected traffic in the security checkpoints, the board displays a range of icons from 1 to 8 (1 to 4 – smooth traffic flow, 5-6 – intensive traffic flow, 7-8 – extensive traffic flow). The proposed solution allows passengers to make a decision to undergo a security check earlier. Kraków Airport is also planning to implement a solution for displaying the estimated waiting time for security screening.
