Wiesław Dymny was a versatile artist who smoothly combined the cabaret, theatre, film, music, literature and visual arts. He was one of the founders of the legendary cabaret Piwnica pod Baranami, author of poems, songs and film scripts, as well as amazing photographic portraits of his second wife, Anna Dymna. The exhibition presents dozens of Dymny’s works – paintings, drawings, collages, book cover designs, scenography designs and photographs selected from his vast legacy. Most of them are undated and resemble rough sketches – they were made using what the artist had at hand at a given moment.
