In July and August, a total of almost 1.1 million travellers, 11% more passengers compared to last year’s holiday, used the services of Kraków Airport.

The passengers spent their holiday mainly in Spain, but another connection that enjoyed considerable popularity was PLL LOT flight to Chicago, inaugurated at the beginning of July. Meanwhile, Great Britain remains one of the trendiest travel destinations, with flights offered by four different carriers. Moreover, almost half of the passengers planning holiday and stopping over at one of Europe’s hubs have used Lufthansa services. During the holiday months, Kraków Airport serviced mostly Polish, British and US citizens.
The offer of Kraków Airport, both in the summer and the upcoming winter season, makes it possible to plan a sunny holiday directly from Krakow, regardless of the season.” – said Radosław Włoszek, President of the Kraków Airport Board.
The winter schedule will be introduced on the last Sunday of October. Passengers will be able to choose from 89 connections, including 16 new ones offered by 16 airlines.
