Athens Airport is approximately 35 km from the city center and approximately 45 km from Piraeus. Athens city center can be reached from the airport by public transport (metro or express bus) or by taxi.
There are four expedited bus lines (Express) operating 24/7 from Athens Airport. Line X95 connects the airport with the center of Athens. The X95 buses run daily and 24/7. The journey takes over an hour. The stop at the airport is located near the arrivals hall. You can also reach the city center by metro line 3 (blue line), which runs between the airport station and Agia Marina station. Stops in the center: Syntagma or Monastiraki. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes.
