Machu Picchu is located at 2400 m above sea level, which means that it is often sunk in the clouds…
And that was exactly the weather we experienced. For a long time we were enjoying the sight of Inca walls sinking in fog. Fortunately, eventually we saw an amazing view, which was enriched with clouds creeping between the walls, adding an air of mystique to the whole scene.
Once again, we had used up a memory card by takings thousands of photos of the same places, and after a few hours and with heads filled with emotions, we returned home. We also spent a moment in Cusco, a loud, crowded city with a beautiful old part.
