Travelling while pregnant

Pregnant women can fly on commercial airlines without restriction during your first and second trimesters, but during your third trimester you may run into some restrictions.

It is advisable for women who are pregnant to first check with their doctor to ensure that it is safe for them to fly. Next, pregnant women should read over the pregnancy policy of the airline in which they wish to purchase a ticket. Many airlines require pregnant women to carry a doctor’s note stating they are having a healthy pregnancy in order to fly, while a few airlines prohibit pregnant women from traveling late in pregnancy. For more information please check within your carrier.

For women in advanced pregnancy and families traveling with children up to 2 years - Kraków Airport created an additional security check point called Special Service Line. This allows you to shorten the waiting time for security checks and thus increase the comfort of passengers requiring special care.
