Going on holiday? #flyKRK
Our airport is getting more and more busy these days. Kraków Airport’s campaign Going on holiday? #flyKRK was launched on 15 June. The summer route network offers 146 connections (including 10 new ones) to 32 countries, operated by 19 airlines.
The fresh summer routes include four connections offered by LOT Polish Airlines: to Bydgoszcz, Tirana, Rhodes and New York. New routes from Wizz Air include Split, Heraklion and Santorini. You can also fly to Santorini with Ryanair. The Irish carrier’s new summer destinations also include Corfu and Billund. There is also an interesting offer of air travel to destinations in Poland. Kraków Airport’s base carrier Ryanair offers flights to Szczecin and Gdańsk. When choosing LOT, you can visit the Mazuria (Olsztyn), Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk and Warsaw. More and more carriers are returning to Kraków. In the recent months, Austrian Airlines have resumed its flights to Vienna and SWISS is flying to Zurich again. Flights to Stuttgart with Eurowings have been restored as well. The following airlines are resuming operations in late June: British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Norwegian and Transavia.
Fly to Split with Wizzair
Starting from 11 June, you can #flyKRK to the Croatian city of Split with Wizz Air twice a week. The inauguration of this route starts a series of holiday flights from Kraków operated by Kraków Airport’s base carrier. “Split and Kraków are both places with an amazing atmosphere, where tourists find everything they are after: fascinating monuments, unique local dishes and the hustle and bustle of a vibrant city” said Radosław Włoszek, President of the Board of Kraków Airport. “We are glad the route will promote a further expansion of economic contacts between our regions”.
Say hello to Corfu with Ryanair
Starting from June 17, Kraków Airport passengers can travel to Corfu with Ryanair. The launch of the CFU – KRK – CFU route marks the start of a series of holiday flights offered by Kraków Airport’s base carrier. In the 2021 summer season, Ryanair will base eight of its airliners in Kraków and offer 70 routes, including three new ones: to Corfu, Santorini and Billund – and many other holiday routes to destinations such as Alicante, Bari, Burgas, Podgorica and Zadar. Ryanair will operate more than 210 flights from Kraków per week in the summer season (i.e. until the end of October). Passengers can book flights on both domestic and international routes at the best prices, and with the option of free rebooking.
