An aviation adventure with puppets – Johnny and his mother. In the play, young Johnny is curious to learn who works at the airport. So far, he only know about pilots, but throughout the show, he discovers there are lots of different professions that provide assistance during the passenger’s journey. The performance is complemented by a visit to the observation deck (or an alternative activity in bad weather).

The Aviation Education Centre is equipped with terminal infrastructure elements, allowing visitors to reveal the secrets of traveling — from baggage screening to taking a seat on board an aircraft. During this workshop, groups learn how an airport operates and what a passenger’s departure-arrival path looks like in practice. They will also visit the observation deck with an instructor.

As part of the visit, three participants will have the opportunity to use the flight simulator. Selection will be based on students’ activity, knowledge, and behavior.

Aviation Questing for participants over the age of 10. A series of puzzles and riddles designed to unveil the airport’s hidden secrets. During a walk around the airport (in landside area of the terminal), students work in groups to solve questions listed on a worksheet. This playful, educational activity strengthens orientation skills and teamwork.
Questing can be an addition to other workshops. Reservations are required via email.

A two-hour exploration-based game where participants solve puzzles across publicly accessible airport areas using the CEL KRK mobile app. It’s great fun with a competitive twist! Please note that at least one team member must have a phone with the CEL KRK app installed. Since parts of the game are outdoors, participants should dress accordingly.

We encourage combining this game with other offerings to extend your visit time at CEL!

Through our mobile app and QR codes that are located across publicly accessible airport areas, discover such professions as: the Ground Operations Duty Officer or personnel in yellow vests at the passenger terminal. Using aeronautical charts, pupils team up to plan a flight: create a flight plan, calculate required fuel, and perform aircraft weight-and-balance calculations. Celebrate your child’s birthday at the Aviation Education Centre! We offer a unique, aviation-themed birthday party experience, including interactive games, educational activities, and lots of fun. We offer three topics depending on the age of the participants:

Theme 2: Journey in the Land of Clouds (ages 6–10)
Theme 3: Time Quest (ages 11–14)

Try yourself in our Airbus A320 flight simulator! Experience Cracow from the pilot’s perspective, explore the secrets of modern avionics, learn about the cooperation between the Captain and First Officer, and feel the thrill of piloting a commercial aircraft. Sessions are conducted by professional or trainee pilots, ensuring an authentic experience.

The cockpit is intended for guests aged 13 and above.

These workshops are available both in Polish and English language. While making the reservation please notify us in additional information that you would like to have a flight in English.

Each person flying in the pilot’s seat may be accompanied by one guest who will sit in the cockpit.

Younger aviation enthusiasts (under the age of 13) may observe older participants as accompanying guests.

A four-hour, expert-level training session where participants learn about passenger handling, aviation procedures, and legal regulations. The training combines theoretical instruction with practical observation of a full aircraft turnaround—from landing to take-off. Participants also get to explore the operational areas and the staff role specifics at Kraków Airport. The first two hours take place at the Aviation Education Centre, followed by time spent in the restricted area of our airport.
