KRAKÓW AIRPORT SPONSORSHIP POLICY

DSponsorship campaigns are an important element of the Kraków Airport brand positioning process. They shape the image of the airport as a modern company, a leader among European regional airports, and prove that we care for good relations with the residents of adjacent communes and the city of Kraków. The main goals of these measures include increasing employee involvement, increasing innovation, supporting Kraków Airport's promotional and commercial activities, and strengthening the Kraków Airport brand by broadening its awareness and interest among customers, contractors, investors and the local community.

 

SUPPORT FOR EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES

Kraków Airport has been supporting two educational institutions in the communes of Morawica and Zabierzów for a number of years. Our support for these schools includes providing funds for educational projects and to purchase new equipment, renovate classrooms, fund school trips, sports activities and prizes for school competitions.

  •       Patronage of the School and Preschool Complex in Balice

 

 

AIRPORT RESCUE AND FIRE-FIGHTING SERVICE IN THE NATIONAL FIREFIGHTING AND RESCUE SYSTEM

Our Airport Rescue and Fire-Fighting Service team is operating as part of the National Firefighting and Rescue System which brings together various rescue services to join forces during mass incidents. As part of their cooperation within the NFRS, Kraków Airport firefighters help in rescue operations outside the airport, usually responding to traffic accidents on the A4 motorway.

 

 ACOUSTIC ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME

The aim of this initiative is to minimize the airport's impact on the surroundings and improve the quality of life of residents living in houses and apartments located within the designated Limited Use Area for Kraków-Balice Airport. Residents of that area can benefit from financial support to replace windows and doors in their homes with ones offering improved acoustic insulation, and to carry out other soundproofing works.
