Dear Passengers

From 4th Decembe 2025, the Border Guard will begin implementing the European Union (EU) Entry/Exit System (EES) at Kraków Airport. This new European border management system allows for the registration of non-EU citizens traveling for short stays. Traveler data will be recorded in the EES regardless of whether they require a short-term visa or enjoy visa-free travel. Entry refusals will also be recorded in the system. The EES will not introduce any new requirements for individuals exercising their right to free movement. This additional requirement will result in longer border control times. Therefore, passengers departing from the Schengen Area are requested to proceed to passport control as early as possible. Please note that security checks are available around-the-clock.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PASSENGERS

All passengers, whether traveling with checked baggage or hand luggage only, are kindly requested to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
