If you are traveling with checked baggage, complete the formalities at the KIS branch in the public area, in the departures hall, near check-in 45. Do low-cost airlines transport animals?
Low-cost airlines operating at Kraków Airport, i.e. Ryanair, Easy Jet, Jet2.com, Norwegian and Eurowings all have different regulations concerning animal transport aboard their planes. Below, is the summary of regulations concerning animal transport adopted by low-cost airlines operating at Kraków Airport: Ryanair does not allow any animals aboard the plane except for guide dogs. Similarly, Easy Jet does not allow any animals aboard the plane either, except for guide dogs. Jet2.com only allows animals aboard domestic flights in Great Britain. Therefore, it is impossible to transport an animal (even a guide dog) when flying from or to Kraków. Norwegian does allow animals aboard their planes but they are put in special cages or containers and transported in the cargo hold. Eurowings transports pets (cats or dogs) up to 8 kg and only in the passenger cabin. The animal must be put in a cage that allows it to move freely during flight.

Yes, the Car Help Patrol service includes free and on-site minor vehicle repairs, including: replenishing air in tires or starting a vehicle with a discharged battery. I’m coming to pick up my guests who are using the VIP service. Where do I wait for them?
To drop off and pick up guests, please use the car park in front of the VIP Terminal. You can find the location map here. On entering the airport, please pick up an entry ticket and hand it over to VIP Terminal staff. You will reach the VIP Terminal in a dedicated VIP lane marked on the signs.
Can I rent the VIP space on an exclusive basis, e.g. for a corporate event?

I would like to surprise my family and order the VIP service for them on arrival. How can I be sure they will proceed to the VIP Terminal, not the Passenger Terminal?
VIP staff responsible for the service wait for passengers immediately at the exit from the aircraft. From there, passengers are taken directly to the VIP Terminal.
We are flying to the Alps to ski. Do I need to check in my sports equipment at the Passenger Terminal myself?
Please check the conditions of carriage on the carrier's website. When travelling on a scheduled flight, the owner of the luggage needs to turn up at the check-in desk in the Passenger Terminal. A VIP staff member will show you the way and help arrange your check-in.
I am flying with a small dog/cat. What should I keep in mind?
Please check special conditions of carriage for animals on the carrier's website. When booking the VIP service, please make a suitable note on the service booking form. A bowl of water will be waiting for your pet in the VIP Terminal.
I am flying from Kraków to Amsterdam. Can I use a VIP service there too?

Is the VIP Terminal accessible to persons with disabilities?
Of course. Our infrastructure has been designed to make it easier for people with disabilities to use. VIP staff attend appropriate training and know how to assist persons with disabilities, e.g. wheelchair users. To get passengers to the plane, we will order a vehicle designed for the transport of passengers with disabilities.
Can you help me buy my air ticket as part of the VIP service?
Please purchase your flight ticket from the selected operator or carrier according to your preferences, and then book the VIP service.
How far in advance can I book the VIP service?
As soon as you know your itinerary, you can book the VIP service. You can also cancel your booking free of charge no later than 24 hours before departure or arrival at Kraków Airport.
Can I stay at the VIP Terminal overnight?
The VIP Terminal does not offer overnight stays. You can use the services of Kraków Airport Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, which is located immediately by the airport. The VIP Terminal is open 7 days a week from 7 am to 10 pm. If your flight is scheduled before or after those times, we are naturally at your disposal. Please submit your VIP service booking form.
I would like to have a nap before the flight. Can this be arranged?
There are no sleeping beds in the VIP Terminal. You can use the services of Kraków Airport Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, which is located immediately by the airport.
Do you offer discounts on the VIP service for children?
We do not charge for a service provided to children aged 3 years or younger. Please note that children are only allowed in the VIP Terminal under the supervision of an adult (guardian).
I need privacy – is there a place where I can work quietly?
We have two rooms for individual use: the Presidential Suite and the Senator's Suite. You can use those spaces on an exclusive basis for an additional fee. The Presidential Suite has a comfortable work desk, a private entrance, access to daylight, comfortable sofas and a private bathroom. Please see our price list in the our website.
I am using the VIP service for my departure but my plane cannot take off due to adverse weather conditions. Do I have to pay any extra charge?
Yes, according to the terms of use of the VIP service link, a fee price list is charged for every hour of your stay in the VIP Terminal (exceeding two hours). The company Międzynarodowy Port Lotniczy Kraków-Balice sp. z o.o. is not liable for any change in the cost of the service resulting from an extended stay in the VIP Terminal in case of adverse weather conditions or other extraordinary circumstances disrupting flight schedule or causing delays.
I indicated four people on the service booking form, but one of them resigned at the last minute. Will I be charged the extra cost?
Regardless if the service will ultimately benefit more or less people than entered on the form, the fee will always be charged according to the service actually performed and appropriately to the number of passengers served.

Do I need to have my boarding passes printed out with me?
When you are travelling on a scheduled flight, our VIP staff will see to all formalities, including getting your boarding passes ready. As an exception, when you are travelling with Ryanair Sun you need to have a printed or electronic version of your boarding pass with you. In this case it is also possible to check in at the airport, but there is an additional fee as per the carrier's price list.
Can I take a shower while at the VIP Terminal?
Yes. The VIP Terminal has a shower with all necessary disposable toiletries. All passengers using the VIP service can use the shower at no extra charge.
How long will I have to wait for my luggage on arrival?
Upon landing, a VIP staff member will drive you to the VIP Terminal in a Lexus car. Here you will wait for your luggage to be delivered. We make every effort to ensure the waiting time is as short as possible, usually between a few minutes and about a quarter of an hour.
On collecting my luggage at the VIP Terminal I noticed that it has been damaged. What do I do now?
A VIP staff member will help you contact a representative of the carrier responsible for handling lost or damaged luggage claims. If necessary, we will help you fill out documents to report damage or loss of luggage with the carrier.
Can I carry a gun?

Yes, we offer electronic access to Polish and international press titles. The QR code for the platform is available at the Business Lounge. Out of concern for the environment, we do not offer printed papers or magazines.
Can I take a shower while at the Business Lounge?
Yes, the Business Lounge has facilities for passengers to refresh before the flight. A disposable towel, bath gel and shampoo are available at the Business Lounge. There is no extra charge for the service. If you would like to use the shower, please ask Business Lounge reception staff.
If I leave the Business Lounge to do shopping in the duty-free zone, can I return without being charged again?
Of course, just please remember to take your belongings with you. On returning to the Business Lounge, please show your boarding pass to the reception staff again, mentioning you have already been registered.

Please take your belongings with you. Due to applicable security regulations you are requested not to leave your belongings unattended at the airport.
Can I make changes to my travel/booking arrangements while at the Business Lounge?
Reception staff cannot change flight bookings. However, they can give you the phone number to call, or offer other practical hints.
Can people with disabilities use the Business Lounge?
Yes, the Business Lounge is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. If you need help, note that Kraków Airport offers free assistance on request.
Where is the Business Lounge?
The Schengen Business Lounge is located opposite Gate 2.
If the Non-Schengen Business Lounge is closed, can I use the Schengen Business Lounge?
Non-Schengen passengers have access to the 'Business Lounge Schengen'. Please note once passed through Passport Control passengers are not allowed to return to the Schengen Departure Zone where the ‘Business Lounge Schengen’ is located. Please allow sufficient time to return to the departure gate, as when leaving the lounge you have to pass through Passport Control.
If the last flight is delayed, will the opening hours of the Business Lounge be extended?
Yes, if flights are delayed, the Business Lounge can remain open for an hour longer.
Do the staff speak English?
Yes, you can rest assured our reception staff will provide any assistance you may need in Polish and English.

Children can travel with an adult supervisor within the European Union without any restrictions. No parental authorisation or consent allowing them to fly with a supervisor who has a different surname is required. Naturally, parents can provide a handwritten declaration in the Polish language and, for instance, English, however it is not required by the airport services. Can I bring a baby carrier aboard the plane?
You can transport a baby carrier but it cannot be taken aboard the plane. It must be handed over to the ground handling services before boarding the plane so that they can put it in the cargo hold.
Do I have to wait in line for the check-in and security control when travelling with little children?
Passengers travelling with little children may request qualified assistance (Need Help) that will help them go through mandatory security in the least stressful manner and without having to wait in line.
Do the airlines charge additional fees for transporting a stroller or a baby carrier?
Airlines operating at Kraków Airport transport strollers and baby carriers that are an integral part of a stroller without any charges. Some low-cost airlines do charge for baby equipment, i.e. additional luggage taken aboard the plane used by children such as a car seat. Should I check in with a stroller?
Yes, you should, if you want your stroller to be transported in the cargo hold or would like to check it directly before boarding the plane. Passenger service employees will label the stroller in an appropriate manner.
We are flying with our babies. Can we bring food and drinks for our children in our hand luggage?
An appropriate amount of food and drinks for little children can be put in your hand luggage. All kinds of porridge, purée and juice in cartons or bottles in the quantities required for the duration of flight are allowed in your hand luggage while going through security.
